Ingredients:
1 kg chicken
3 onions (cut in cubes)
1 tomato (chopped)
2 potatoes (cut in cubes)
2 green chilies (slit)
1 cinnamon stick
3 cloves
2 cardamom pods
3 tsp stew powder
1 tsp pepper powder
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
2 tbsp ghee
1 bunch coriander leaves (finely chopped)
Steps:
- Heat ghee. Add onions and fry till light golden.
- Add cinnamon, cloves, cardamom, tomatoes and green chillies.
- Add stew powder, pepper powder, turmeric powder and salt. Mix well. Fry till the tomatoes cook and the oil separates.
- Add the chicken and potatoes. Mix till the chicken is coated well, then add 1 cup water.
- Once the chicken is cooked, add chopped coriander leaves.
