One Pot Laban/Dahi/Curd Curry - Joshua

Ingredients:
1 large onion (sliced)
3 round red chillies 
2 green chillies 
4 cloves garlic 
1 tsp whole cumin seeds
1 tsp mustard seeds 
Handful of curry leaves
2 cups yogurt/laban
1 tsp garam masala powder
1 tsp turmeric powder 
1 tsp Kashmiri chilli powder 
1/2 tsp red chilli powder
1 tsp salt

Steps:
  1. Whisk yogurt or laban in a bowl till its smooth and set aside.
  2. In a vessel, heat ghee.
  3. Add onions, and saute for 2 minutes.
  4. Add garlic, red chilli, green chilli and saute lightly. 
  5. Then add whole cumin, mustard seeds, curry leaves and garlic cloves.
  6. Add salt, turmeric powder, red chili powder, Kashmiri chili powder, and garam masala powder. Mix together and fry well. Add a few drops of water to avoid burning the spices. 
  7. Turn down the heat, add half cup water and stir in the yogurt. Mix well with the masala till well combined. 
  8. Add water according to desired consistency and stir occasionally till it thickens.
