Whole Tandoori Chicken - Joshua

Easy Tandoori Chicken Recipe Mangy Kitchen























Ingredients:
1 whole chicken (slits on the meat)
2 tbsp butter
coriander leaves (garnish)
sliced lemon 

For the marinade:
2 tbsp ghee
6-8 tbsp yogurt
5 tbsp tandoori powder
1 tbsp coriander powder
1 tbsp pepper powder 
2 tsp salt


Steps:
  1. Mix all the ingredients together in a bowl to make a marinade. Apply on the chicken and set aside for 6-8 hours preferably. 
  2. Bake covered in an oven for 90 minutes at 400F.
  3. Remove the foil cover, baste the chicken with the cooked marinade from the dish, then coat the chicken with butter and broil for 10 minutes. Ensure internal temperature is 165F. Let is rest before serving with a squeeze of lemon.
