Mutton Curry - Oreen

Ingredients:
To boil the mutton
1 kg mutton
1 tsp salt
1 tbsp vinegar
1 cinnamon stick
1 cup water

To grind for the masala base
2 large onions
2 tbsp bafat powder
1/2 tbsp jeera powder
1 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp garam masala powder
1-2 tbsp vinegar
1 tsp salt
1 tbsp ghee

Mutton stock after pressure cooking 

Steps:
  1. Pressure cook the mutton with salt, vinegar and cinnamon sticks till the mutton is soft, about 6-8 whistles.
  2. Transfer the stock to a mixie jar.

  3. Meanwhile, in a pan, heat ghee. 
  4. Add the onions with bafat powder, jeera powder, turmeric, garam masala powder, vinegar and salt. Fry well till the onions are cooked.  
  5. Once it cools, transfer to the mixie jar with the mutton stock and blend well.
  6. Add the ground masala to the cooked mutton and bring to a boil. 
  7. ENJOY!
