Prawn and Okra Curry (sunkta and benda) - Rosy aunty

Ingredients:
30 medium size prawns 
1/4 kg okra/benda

For grinding masala:
1 tbsp coriander seeds
1 tsp cumin seeds 
1/2 tsp mustard seeds 
1/4 - 1/2 tsp pepper corns 
7 to 8 byadgi chillies 
1/2 tsp turmeric powder 
3 big cloves garlic 
1 medium size onion
6 tbsp coconut milk powder 
small ball of tamarind 
2 to 3 tbsp oil
1 tsp sugar (optional)

Steps:
  1. Clean, de-vein the prawns and rinse thoroughly. Drain, add salt, mix well, rinse again and drain the water.
  2. Rinse the okra, drain and wipe dry. Chop both the ends, cut into pieces.

  3. Heat oil in a vessel, saute the okra for a few minutes.
  4. Add the ground masala, required amount of water, salt and mix well.
  5. Cook till done and add prawns, cook for another 4 to 5 minutes.
  6. Check for salt and add sugar (optional), mix well and switch off the flame.
